Studio City, Calif. – Oct. 10, 2002 – Just back from a buying holiday in Italy, debout owner Maria Churchill now unveils the one-of-a-kind finds at a party to celebrate the boutique's first Fall collection. On Oct. 25 and 26, debout will showcase the newest must-haves for Fall, including new shoes from Sigerson Morrison, Marc Jacobs, Audley and Avril Gau; handbags from Flavio Oliveria and hand-blown glass jewelry from some of the finest artisans in Europe. Some of the store's most prominently-featured designers will attend the two-day soiree.
"For Southern Californians looking for smart, beautiful shoes, handbags and jewelry, unavailable anywhere else, debout's first Fall collection is a fabulous find," says Churchill. "From Morrisson and Jacobs to new brands never sold in Los Angeles, debout's two-day celebration is a great chance to see the gems of an excellent upcoming season."
Bridging the gap between LA's expensive specialty shoe stores and its routine department stores, debout offers unique and attractive designer shoes at reasonable prices – with handbags and accessories to match. With vintage interior pieces by Verner Panton, Phillipe Stark, Eileen Gray and Charles and Ray Eames, debout's unique charm doesn't stop at its inventory.
On hand for the Fall collection unveiling will be handbag extraordinaires Flavio Olivera and Melvone, jewelry designer Joey Jager, and Dina Gardner from Graye Shoes. The event will take place in the store from 5-8pm on Oct. 25 and 26.
